Since receiving his BFA in Acting with a Minor in Dance, Joshua has performed professionally all over the city of Pittsburgh for both the stage and screen with such companies as City Theater (The Brothers Size; Flight), Pittsburgh Public Theater (Aint’ Misbehavin’), Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theater (Julius Cesar), Pittsburgh Playwrights Theater (James McBride; Corps Values; A Question of Taste [part of the Theater Festival in Black and White]), Kuntu Repertory Theater (Sarafina!), Unseam’d Shakespeare Company (Othello), and many more. His Film and Television credits include: The Kill Point; Three Rivers; Trapped; and Homecoming (released on July 17th 2009 in select cities).
Joshua has been widely recognized by numerous cultural organizations for his contributions to the Pittsburgh theatre scene. He is a recipient of the 2008 Pittsburgh Creativity Project’s Pilot Initiative, and was recognized by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette in their article, “Young Pittsburghers to Watch in 2009.”
